Acceptable Use Policy
This policy explains activities that are not permitted on hosting supplied by DB Web & Hosting.
Prohibited use
Customers must not use the service to host, distribute or facilitate unlawful material, malware, phishing, credential theft, spam, denial-of-service attacks, unauthorised access, copyright infringement, abusive content that breaches applicable law, or activity designed to compromise another system.
Resource abuse
Shared/reseller hosting must not be used in a way that materially degrades service for other customers. High-load applications, bulk mailing, file distribution, crypto mining or similar workloads may require a different service.
Unsolicited bulk email, deceptive email and use of compromised mailing lists are prohibited. Customers are responsible for securing email passwords and mailing forms.
Security
Customers must take reasonable steps to secure applications and credentials. We may suspend vulnerable or compromised services where necessary to protect the platform.
Enforcement
We may investigate reported misuse and, where appropriate, require remedial action, suspend affected services, preserve evidence or cooperate with lawful requests.
